6 Ways of Getting Your Guests Involved in the Party
While some of your guests will be perfectly fine sitting on the sidelines of the party and watching the proceedings happen without them, some of the will only have a good time if they are directly involved. Here are some ways to get your guests involved as part of the event.
Karaoke
Some of your guests are likely aspiring singers, or they may just be ready to belt out some lyrics at a moment’s notice. You can get them up on stage and performing to the delight of your other guests with a karaoke machine.
Photo Booths
For a lower-key involvement, you can hire a photo booth from Treasured Mems. This company lets you hire as many booths as you need, and it ensures that they are professionally attended. Your guests can have their photos printed out instantly, and they will always have something from the event to cherish. The booths are even large enough for group photos.
Relay Race
This kind of activity even works with people who cannot do much physical activity. You can put the people who don’t want to do much walking in a wheelbarrow or other wheeled item and have them pushed around for part of the race. Then the really physical people can run or bike for other parts of the race.
Impromptu Play
A play for your event will be more fun and chaotic if you just announce it at the event. Give your guests some props and costumes to work with and have them plan and act out a short skit during the event.
Dunking Booth
You can have a dunking booth set up for relatively cheap. And it’s a great way to allow even the most serious of guests have some fun. They can either volunteer to be dunked or be the dunkers and throw balls to drop their friends into the water.
Social Media
You can get your guests involved in a social media campaign for your event. Have them invite their friends to the event over social media sites like Facebook or Twitter. They can also issue fun challenges to each other for people who are the last to show up or who are the best dressed.
